Crash group show at Flanders Gallery, May 2010
In May, I will be part of a group show titled Crash. The exhibit will feature work executed while in residence at the Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts in Omaha, NE.
Women And Children First
Women and Children First is my first solo exhibition since 2007 in my hometown of Raleigh. November 6th through the 30th.
It is the inaugural exhibition for Flanders Gallery's new exhibition space.
Bemis Center fall 2009
I have been awarded a residency at the Bemis Center in Omaha, Nebraska for October to December 2009. The Bemis Center is a non-profit dedicated to supporting emerging artists. They have a national/international call for artists for their residency program once a year. It is very competitive as the support and facilities are outstanding. They include studio space, living quarters, and a monthly stipend. A link to their website is located in the links section on the homepage.
United Arts Council
I just got word that I have been awarded a 1500$ grant from the local Raleigh-Wake County chapter of the United Arts Council. The Grant will be used to help with the cost of materials for my upcoming solo show at Flanders Art Gallery in May-June 2009.
Exhibit C
The regional Arts magazine, Exhibit C, will feature my work on the cover of their November issue. There will also be a feature article as well. Exhibit C is new publication started by Gabriel Lovejoy to promote and support the Artists of North and South Carolina. Its a full color, high quality publication that will soon become available in most major cities in the Carolinas.

The Rosebuds' Life Like
My friends the rosebuds--Kelly Crisp and Ivan Howard--are using a piece of my artwork that they purchased from me in 2007 for the cover of their new full-length album, Life Like. It hits stores in October 2008. Check it out.
